O'Sullivan point-less vs. former team: The Sports Xchange reports Tuesday's game reunited the Kings with their former winger, Patrick O'Sullivan, and provided some first-hand evidence about how their trade worked out. On March 4, the Kings traded O'Sullivan to Carolina for winger Justin Williams. The Hurricanes then immediately flipped O'Sullivan to Edmonton for Erik Cole. Neither O'Sullivan nor Williams had a point in Tuesday's game, and here's how things have gone for the players on their new teams: Williams has one goal and two assists in 10 games with the Kings, O'Sullivan has one goal and four assists in 17 games with the Oilers and Cole has two goals and 13 assists in 15 games with the Hurricanes. Cole had four assists Tuesday against the Islanders.

Fantasy Analysis

O'Sullivan became expendable after he really never managed to grasp coach Terry Murray's system in Los Angeles. He then moved to a team that was willing to let his offensive game take over, but O'Sullivan hasn't been able to mesh with the Oilers either. We know he has offensive talents, but thanks to a down year in 2009-10, O'Sullivan will have low-end Fantasy appeal on Draft Day 2009.
