Jones recovering from another surgery: The Sports Xchange reports D Randy Jones is recovering from May 13 hip surgery. Jones had surgery to remove inflamed tissue and excess scar tissue from his right hip.

Jones was slated to only need 4-6 weeks recovery time, so he should be ready for training camp. Jones didn't debut in 2008-09 until December as he was recovering from his first hip surgery. It really seemed to bother his game, as he managed just four goals and eight points in 47 games. It was a real disappointing season after posting a career-high 31 points in 2007-08. Jones will be back in Philly for the final year of his contract in 2009-10, but is merely an injury-risk, low-end Fantasy flier Draft Day.
