Martin nets rare goal Friday: Devils D Paul Martin scored a goal and finished at even in 26:36 of ice time Friday against the Blackhawks. Martin gave the Devils a 2-1 lead with 18 seconds left in first period. From a goalmouth scramble, Martin converted a rebound after Nikolai Khabibulin had made saves on Brian Gionta and Dainius Zubrus. It was Martin's fifth goal and first since Jan. 21.
