Perrin stayed with the Thrashers through the trade deadline despite desperately wanting to leave. He claimed he wasn't being utilized enough offensively. That has changed as of late since Perrin is starting to log consistent power-play minutes, but he still isn't producing at a high level. Perrin has very low-end Fantasy appeal. He is also worth a flier in leagues that reward heavily for short-handed stats when healthy.

RW Eric Perrin has built of plenty of frustrations this season as his playing time has decreased. On Saturday in Buffalo, Perrin released his anger on Tim Connolly, whose elbow in the previous period knocked Jim Slater out of the game. Perrin took a full speed run at Connolly as soon as the puck dropped to start the third period. The blatant charging penalty also resulted in a 10-minute misconduct. 31/5/2009
