Ladd finishes on high note: Blackhawks LW Andrew Ladd scored a goal and finished at plus-1 during Sunday's game against the Red Wings. Ladd's 15th goal of the season almost eight minutes in gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Dustin Byfuglien circled with the puck, made a nice pass to Brent Seabrook, who found Ladd wide open on the other side of the net where he easily beat Chris Osgood. It stood up as the winner in a 3-0 victory.

Fantasy Analysis

Ladd finished the season on a high note with two goals and five assists in seven April games. Had he managed one more point Sunday, he would have had his first 50-point campaign. He still had career-highs in goals, assists, points and plus-minus rating in 2008-09. His career has really taken off since leaving Carolina last season. Ladd has shown to be effective at both ends of the ice for Chicago, but still remains a low-end Fantasy forward on Draft Day 2009.
