| The Coyotes would've probably liked to hang on to Curtis McElhinney, who was traded to Columbus on Wednesday in the Antoine Vermette deal, but were nearing the 50-man roster limit. He had been demoted to the AHL when he was in Phoenix, and likely wouldn't factor into the Blue Jackets' plans anyway, with Steve Mason and Curtis Sanford sharing duties this season.
