| This is a no-risk move for the Leafs, as Voros wasn't really wanted in Anaheim any more and the Leafs only give up the pick if he re-signs in Toronto. He'll start in the AHL in what is essentially a tryout to see if he can fit into the team's future plans. He's certainly not a scorer, but with 395 penalty minutes in 162 NHL games, he has some value there if he does land a spot with the big team at some point. (Updated 02/15/2011). |
