Malkin may have finished with one more point than Crosby in the
series, but the Penguins captain carried his team with solid
all-around play. Crosby finished the series with four goals and
four assists, recording points in every contest except for Game
5. He was exceptionally good in the faceoff circle, winning 99
of 156 of his draws (63.5 percent). In Game 6, he capped the
Pens' comeback from three goals down and provided an empty
netter for insurance.
