The Avalanche set the tone early with goals by Andrew Brunette,
Wojtek Wolski and Tyler Arnason in the first 11 minutes of the
game. Ruslan Salei and Milan Hejduk add power play tallies in

Thedodore, who had to fight to reclaim his starting role earlier
this season, was nothing short of spectacular down the stretch
for Colorado. In the Avalanche's last three games, the former
Hart and Vezina Trophy winner stopped 72 of 75 shots. He held
Minnesota to two goals or less in each contest, and more
importantly, kept Wild leading scorer Marian Gaborik off the
board.
