Series MVP
Flyers C Daniel Briere

Briere
Briere was nothing short of spectacular against the Capitals, and showed why he was one of the most coveted free agents last summer. With six goals and five assists, the center played a role in nearly half of Philadelphia's goals. Briere registered points in all but one game -- the Flyers' 2-0 win in Game 2 -- and finished with three multiple-point games in the series. Briere also played a role in Joffrey Lupul's series clincher with an assist on the power play tally.
