VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Vancouver Canucks defenseman Sami Salo will be out for four weeks with a broken rib, the team announced on Friday.
The Finn was injured when he was driven into the boards by Edmonton's Ethan Moreau during a 4-2 home win on Wednesday.
Salo, who had just returned to the lineup after missing three games with a groin injury, left the ice. No penalty was called on the play.
Salo has two goals and eight assists in 25 NHL games this season.
