Capitals return Sloan back to Hershey club in AHL

WASHINGTON -- The Capitals assigned defenseman Tyler Sloan to Hershey of the AHL before Sunday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Sloan has played in 23 NHL games this season, with one goal, three assists and 10 penalty minutes. He was recalled twice by Washington this season, most recently on Nov. 8.

The Capitals expected to have defensemen Mike Green and Jeff Schultz return from injuries against the Maple Leafs.
