Thrashers acquire Peverley on waivers from Predators

SUNRISE, Fla. -- The Atlanta Thrashers acquired center Rich Peverley on waivers from Nashville on Saturday.

The 26-year-old Peverley had two goals and seven assists in 27 games for the Predators this season. Peverley had five goals and five assists in 33 games as a rookie last season.
