July 30, 2010 CHICAGO -- Former University of Minnesota defenseman Nick Leddy signed a three-year contract with the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday. Taken with the 16th pick in the 2009 Draft by the Minnesota Wild, Leddy was traded to the Blackhawks with defensemen Kim Johnsson for defenseman Cam Barker on Feb. 12.
