--D Francois Beauchemin scored his fourth goal of the season in the loss to Nashville and has been a plus-5 over his last four games. Beauchemin also played more than 30 minutes against the Predators, marking the fifth time he's done so this season and the fourth time in the last six games.

--C Brandon McMillan returned from a short stay in the minor leagues to assist on Andrew Gordon's goal, giving him his fourth point of the season. McMillan has yet to get a goal for the Ducks but did score three times in five games with the AHL's Syracuse Crunch.

--RW Teemu Selanne had an assist against Nashville to extend his point-scoring streak to five games. Selanne has been the Ducks' best offensive player by far with a team-leading 29 points and is their only player at a point-per-game pace.

--C Saku Koivu (lower body) missed his first game of the season Saturday. The timetable for his return was not announced.

--LW Jason Blake suffered a severe cut on his left forearm in a 1-0 win over San Jose on Oct. 14. Blake was inadvertently cut by the skate blade of Sharks defenseman Brent Burns. He underwent successful surgery to repair tendon damage and is expected to be out until mid- to late January.

--D Lubomir Visnovsky has a broken finger on his left hand and will be out of the lineup until mid-December after injuring it late in the third period when he blocked a shot on Nov. 11 in a win over Vancouver. Visnovsky has not been cleared to practice, but Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau believes he could be ready in "seven to 10 days."
