--LW Niklas Hagman got his first two-goal game with the Ducks on Wednesday against Phoenix, giving him his first multi-goal effort since April 10, 2010 against Vancouver while he was playing for Calgary. Hagman has three goals in 12 games since being claimed off waivers by the Ducks on Nov. 14.
--RW Corey Perry picked up two assists against Phoenix for just his fourth game with two or more points this season. Perry, who led the NHL with 50 goals and finished third with 98 points last season, has been consistent -- he hasn't gone more than a game without a point since Oct. 30 at Columbus.
--D Francois Beauchemin is a plus-6 over his last five games. Beauchemin was a plus-1 on Wednesday against Phoenix and also had an assist to give him 11 points for the season, putting him second in scoring among the team's defensemen.
--LW Jason Blake suffered a severe cut on his left forearm in a 1-0 win over San Jose on Oct. 14. Blake was inadvertently cut by the skate blade of Sharks defenseman Brent Burns. He underwent successful surgery to repair tendon damage and is expected to be out until at least mid-January.
--C Saku Koivu was put on injured reserve retroactive to Dec. 8 because of a lower-body injury suffered during the second period of last week's game at St. Louis. Koivu, who has missed a handful of games in each of his last four seasons, has sat out his first two thus far but could be eligible as soon as Friday when the Ducks play Chicago.
