Canucks: H. Sedin's foot clear of breaks, captain may play at Wild
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Vancouver Canucks say Henrik Sedin has no broken bones in his right foot.
Head coach Alain Vigneault said before Thursday night's game at Minnesota that a CT scan came back clean. Sedin took part in the morning skate, and Vigneault said he would be a game-time decision to play the Wild.
Sedin was hit in the foot in the last game at Nashville by a slap shot from Predators defenseman Kevin Klein.
Not only is Sedin the team captain and fifth in the NHL with 57 points, but he has the second-longest current streak in the league of consecutive games played with 552. Calgary Flames defenseman Jay Bouwmeester was at 559 entering Thursday.
