Kiprusoff honored for his 300th win

--G Miikka Kiprusoff was given a silver stick to commemorate his 300th win in the NHL. There was also a quick video tribute filled with highlights of his spectacular saves over the years.

--The game against the Canucks took on a bit of a nasty tone with Andrew Alberts stirring things up physically. But Tim Jackman settled that score by dropping the gloves with the big Canucks blueliner and winning the decision.

--With overtime penalties coming seconds apart, the teams skated three on three for almost a full two minutes. The Flames chose to go with two defensemen and a forward while the Canucks iced two forwards and a defenseman.
