Luongo's shootout struggles return
--Goalie Roberto Luongo saw his rare shootout win streak end at two games. His difficulties with the showdown session returned as he allowed two goals on three shots. He stopped 16 of 18 shots in regulation time.
--The Canucks are 6-0-3 in their last nine games. They have not lost in regulation time since a home loss to Anaheim on Jan. 15.
--The Canucks went with the same lineup that beat the Wild 5-2 Thursday in Minnesota. As a result, winger Mike Duco drew into the lineup again after being called up from Chicago of the American Hockey League for the second time this season. He replaced Dale Weise, who continues to be sidelined with a foot injury suffered Tuesday in Nashville.
QUOTE TO NOTE
"We can't be satisfied with the point, can't make an excuse that it's the last game of a long road trip. You've got to expect to win every game and that's what we expect. At the end of the day, we got a point -- but we'd have liked two." -- Canucks winger David Booth, after his club suffered a shootout loss Saturday night in Calgary.
