Downie nets two in 11 seconds
--Steve Downie recorded a pair of goals 11 seconds apart on Sunday against Pittsburgh to set a franchise record for fastest two goals scored by the same player. Downie scored at 9:58 and 10:09 of the first period. The previous record was 16 seconds apart set by Jason Wiemer on Oct. 3, 1997, in the third period against the New Jersey Devils.
--In three meetings against Pittsburgh this season, Tampa Bay has been outshot 119-61 while losing two of the three matchups.
--Tampa Bay has visited CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh three times in the regular season, with all three meetings coming in the second half of back-to-back games. Tampa Bay has lost all three meetings by a combined score of 17-4.
