Letestu returns to Jackets after missing 17 games

  •

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated center Mark Letestu off injured reserve after he had missed the last 17 games due to a broken hand sustained in a game at San Jose on Jan. 5.

The 26-year-old Letestu has five goals and six assists this season in 36 games with the Blue Jackets and Pittsburgh Penguins. He was acquired from Pittsburgh on Nov. 8 in exchange for a fourth-round pick in this summer's draft. He has four power-play goals, which ties him for second on the Blue Jackets and matches his career high set in 64 games last season.

In 110 career NHL games, he has 20 goals and 19 assists.
