--LW Jiri Hudler scored two goals in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Colorado, giving him 20 for the season. That's second on the team to Johan Franzen's 23. It's been a huge bounce-back year for Hudler, who had only 10 goals last season. He is playing with more determination, driving to the net and staying there.
--G Jimmy Howard led the NHL with 32 wins on Feb. 2, when he suffered a broken right index finger. He's stuck on 32, after going 0-2-1 since his return. It's not his fault, though. He's made several big saves and given the team a chance to win. He's been victimized by sloppy defense and his team's lack of energy.
--C Henrik Zetterberg had three assists. After a poor first half of the season, he has come on strong. He is skating hard and holding onto the puck better. He has 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) in his past 11 games.
--D Jonathan Ericsson suffered a fractured wrist on Saturday and is out until late March.
--C Pavel Datsyuk had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Feb. 21 and will be out until mid-March.
--RW Patrick Eaves (fractured jaw on Nov. 26) is out indefinitely with post-concussion symptoms.
