--C Ryan Getzlaf has points in five consecutive games and his two assists gave him seven points over that span. Getzlaf's five-game assist streak was tied with Nashville's Martin Erat for the longest active streak in the league.

--LW Jason Blake scored the game-winning goal against St. Louis in the third period Wednesday, giving him his seventh in an injury-plagued season that's limited him to 38 games. Blake had only one goal in his previous 18 contests.

--C Nick Bonino scored his fifth goal of the season Wednesday and it gave him four points in his last two games. Bonino didn't fare too well in the faceoff circle, losing all five of his draws as the Ducks won only 19 of 54 that they took.

--D Cam Fowler scored his second goal in the last four games after going 47 games without one. Fowler has five points in his last six games and now has a good shot of breaking the 30-point barrier after a long offensive drought.

--G Dan Ellis will be out for 4-6 weeks after undergoing sports hernia surgery on March 2 after having it detected when he saw a specialist in Los Angeles. The injury is on top of the torn groin muscle that he suffered during a Jan. 7 practice.

--D Toni Lydman sat out his third consecutive game because of an upper-body injury that he has been playing with lately. It is the sixth game that Lydman has missed this season. He is day to day.
