The Flames acquired Reinprecht from Buffalo as part of the July 3 deal
that sent Chris Drury to the Sabres.
Buffalo had picked up Reinprecht from the Colorado Avalanche earlier
that day.
Reinprecht posted a career-high 51 points, scoring 18 goals with 33
assists, this past season for the Avalanche. He was the club's
fifth-leading scorer.
In 225 NHL games with Colorado and Los Angeles, he has 52 goals and 81
assists for 133 points. Reinprecht also has 10 goals and 10 assists in
50 playoff games. He helped Colorado win the Stanley Cup in 2001.
The 27-year-old native of Edmonton signed with the Kings in March 2000
and was traded to Colorado the following spring.
The Flames acquired a 2004 fourth-round draft pick and future
considerations for Boughner, who tallied a career-high 17 points (3
goals, 14 assists) and had 126 penalty minutes in 69 games last season.
The Windsor, Ontario native has totaled 60 points (14 goals, 46 assists)
and 1,240 penalty minutes in 535 career NHL games with Buffalo,
Nashville, Pittsburgh and Calgary.
The Flames also signed defenseman Roman Rozakov, who was the club's
fourth- round pick in the 1999 draft.
