Blackhawks recall F Keith from Norfolk, send Vorobiev back

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks recalled forward Matt Keith from the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League on Monday and sent Pavel Vorobiev to the Admirals for reassignment.

It is the second time this season Keith has been recalled. He was last Feb. 24 and appeared in six games before being sent to Norfolk earlier this month.

Keith scored his first NHL goal while playing with the Blackhawks against Nashville on March 1.

Vorobiev, also a forward, started the season with the Blackhawks but was reassigned to Norfolk on Nov. 17. He has appeared in two games since being recalled on March 4. Altogether, Vorobiev has appeared in 18 games for Chicago this season. He has one goal and three assists.
