Rangers' Kasparaitis hurt in collision with teammate in warmups

DETROIT -- New York Rangers defenseman Darius Kasparaitis sprained his knee when he collided with a teammate during warmups before Saturday's game against the Detroit Red Wings.

Kasparaitis collided with forward Dominic Moore and had to be helped off the ice by Moore and forward Jason Ward.

The team had no further word on Kasparaitis' status.
