It is Fedoruk's second stint with the Flyers. He played four seasons
with them before being traded in 2005. He has 14 career goals and 54
points in 306 games.
"It's great. I look forward to playing with those guys," Fedoruk said.
Fedoruk has three assists in 10 games. It was the first major deal made
by Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren since he took over for Bob
Clarke last month.
"He has that emotion, intensity, determination and leadership that we
look for in a player," Holmgren said. "He is still a young player and he
is a player that has always been known for his toughness and the
willingness to aid his teammates."
Fedoruk has missed the last eight games recovering from facial injuries
suffered against Minnesota on Oct. 27. Last season, Fedoruk had four
goals and 19 assists for 23 points and 174 penalty minutes in 76 regular
season games for Anaheim.
"It's the same stuff as before. I pride myself on sticking up for my
teammates," he said.
