News
Dubnyk will get the starting nod on the road Saturday night against the Blues, Chd Graff of the Pioneer Press reports.

Dubnyk hasn't won since Jan. 9, a span of seven starts. The blame shouldn't fall squarely on No. 40 since the team's skaters have only managed nine goals of support in his losing skid. Still, the Blues are averaging 2.37 goals per contest for the season and this is shaping up to be an even match for Dubnyk and company.

News
Niederreiter had one of his best games in the NHL against the Isles on Tuesday, scoring a power-play goal on a career-high eight shots and adding an assist.

There's no doubt that El Nino had some extra motivation for this one against the franchise that picked him No. 5 overall in 2010, then damaged his development and shipped him out of town during the 2013 offseason. He's certainly found a home in Minnesota, but Tuesday's dynamic version of Niederreiter hasn't often been on display this year -- incredibly, those eight shots he took Tuesday are actually one more than he totaled in seven games leading up to the All-Star break. We'll soon learn whether this was a one-off in a revenge game or the start of bigger things for the Swiss winger when he gets back in action Thursday against the Rangers.

News
Zucker had his ninth assist of the season in Tuesday's loss to the Islanders. It was his first point in ten games.

It was also Zucker's first assist in 36 games, although he's had eight goals during that span. Hopefully Tuesday's assist gets him out of his recent scoring slump.

News
Dumba scored a power-play goal and went minus-1 in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.

At the time, the Wild were rolling and the goal put them up 2-0, but things weren't destined to stay that way. They've been struggling, which has in turn impacted Dumba's rating -- he's gone minus-7 in the last 10 games. However, with three points in two games coming out of the break, he's been a bright spot, perhaps for the first time all year.

Injuries
Foot - Out until at least Mar 20 (Updated - 2/6/16)
News
Brodin will be out 3-to-6 weeks with a broken foot. According to Anthony LaPanta of Minnesota Wild Television, the defenseman has been placed on injured reserve.

The Wild have lost four straight games, yielding 15 goals over that span, and this latest development for Brodin really stings. He's an up-and-coming defenseman who has been averaging more than 20 minutes of ice time per game and has been known to stifle the opposition with suffocating defense. To look on the bright side, the team was able to activate forward Tyler Graovac (sports hernia) upon sending Brodin to IR.
