News
Zajac scored New Jersey's only goal in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

Gulp -- it snapped a 10-game goal drought, a span in which Zajac only managed two assists. Center is too deep to have patience with that kind of slump.

News
Schneider made 25 saves in a 3-1 loss to Carolina on Saturday night.

Schneider has just one win in his last 11 starts. The Devils are bad and Schneider can't save them. You need to seriously consider a place for him on your bench.

News
Moore scored both of the Devils' goals -- one on the power play -- in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Leafs.

Just 26 years old, Moore is one of the younger veteran journeymen you'll ever see, as he's already playing in his seventh NHL season for his fourth NHL franchise. Those veteran wiles are apparently paying off to some degree, as he's now tied his career high in points (19), and with nine goals, he actually has a legit chance to crack double digits for the first time. Playing for the Devils does his fantasy value no favors, but he's shown enough for us to keep him in mind down the line.

News
Kinkaid will start in net for Sunday's matchup with the Stars, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.

Despite snagging a win during the span, Kinkaid has put up less than stellar numbers over his last three starts, recording a .889 save percentage and 3.36 GAA. He'll look to turn around the recent poor form against a Stars team that tends to struggle on the road, averaging 2.33 goals per game in away contests.

Illness - Day-to-Day (Updated - 3/26/17)
News
Blandisi will not play in Sunday's game against the Stars due to illness, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.

Blandisi has spent more of his season at the AHL level this season, but has been with the top club since early February. The second-year forward has totaled nine points (three goals, six assists) over 22 contests with the group, but has also provided a bit more upside in leagues that count penalty minutes (20). It's unlikely the bug will cost him a ton of time, but his next chance to rejoin the lineup comes Tuesday against the Jets.

News
The Devils assigned Lappin to AHL Albany on Friday.

Lappin has only managed to tally seven points in 43 games with the big club this season, so the Devils may opt to fill the spot he's had on their roster with another young, perhaps more promising prospect down the stretch. Lappin will likely finish the 2016-17 campaign in the minors.
