Injuries
Finger - Day-to-Day (Updated - 2/27/17)
News
Parenteau suffered an injury blocking a shot in Saturday's game against the Rangers and will not be available Monday versus the Canadiens, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.

Parenteau tallied an assist in the game but was held below 10 minutes of ice time because of the injury. His absence from Monday's contest leaves a bit of a void among the forward ranks and on the man advantage, but Blake Coleman was recalled from the team's AHL affiliate to fill in the offensive ranks. The winger's next chance to rejoin the lineup arrives Thursday against the Capitals.

News
Quincey will be held out of Monday's tilt with Montreal, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.

The seasoned defender has reportedly been the subject of various trade discussions ahead of Wednesday's deadline, and the Devils will protect their asset by keeping him out of the lineup. New Jersey next plays Thursday in Washington, so whether Quincey's a member of the Devils or not will be resolved by then. John Moore will take Quincey's place in the lineup.

News
Zajac registered a goal and an assist during Monday's overtime loss to Montreal to extend his point streak to five games.

During the scoring streak, Zajac has three goals, eight points and 12 shots, which has increased his season-long totals to 13, 39 and 108 over 61 games. While fantasy owners shouldn't overvalue his recent uptick in offensive production, Zajac is a potential add in deeper seasonal leagues and worth considering as a low-priced flier in daily contests when the Devils land in a favorable matchup. Just remember that Zajac hasn't hit the 20-goal or 50-point plateau since the 2009-10 campaign.

News
Schneider saved just 29 of 33 shots during Monday's overtime loss to Montreal.

The Devils limited Montreal to just 16 shots through the first two periods of the game, and Schneider saved them all. It quickly slipped downhill from there, though. Schneider allowed four goals on the next 17 shots and lost his third consecutive game and second straight in overtime. It's been a disastrous fantasy campaign, and easily the worst of Schneider's career since becoming an NHL regular. Additionally, after posting a .941 save percentage and 1.87 GAA through seven starts, Schneider has now allowed eight goals over his past two outings.

Adam Henrique, # 14

News
Henrique tallied his 16th goal of the season in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Rangers.

Henrique is way off his 30-goal pace of 2015-16, but he does have seven points, including three snipes, in his last 10 games. Sadly, he was picked apart in the face-off circle (3-for-14). Henrique is solid, but unspectacular depth fantasy play, as long as your league uses him as a forward and not as a center.

Lower Body - Day-to-Day (Updated - 3/1/17)
News
Josefson (lower body) will not travel with the team for Thursday's game against the Capitals, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.

The versatile forward hadn't been an attractive fantasy play due to his bottom-six role -- he's averaged a mere 12:17 of ice time through 35 games this season -- but this injury dampens his value even further. However, if there is a silver lining with this situation, it's that Josefson is still not showing on injured reserve. He'll be reevaluated ahead of Saturday's road game against the Bruins.

Kyle Palmieri, # 21

News
Palmieri scored a goal and added a power-play assist during Monday's overtime loss to Montreal.

With four goals and seven points through his past four games, Palmieri is heating up for fantasy owners. While repeating his 30-goal, 57-point showing from last season is likely still out of reach, the winger is clicking and should be owned in all seasonal leagues. Additionally, Palmieri's price in daily contests hasn't caught up to his recent form.

News
Severson notched an assist, two minor penalties and a plus-2 rating during Monday's overtime loss to Montreal.

With just five assists through his past 16 games, Severson isn't producing enough offense to warrant attention in the majority of seasonal leagues. Since he doesn't help much in the peripheral categories (95 shots, 45 PIM, 59 hits, 63 blocked shots and minus-28 rating for the season), he needs to mark the scoresheet more frequently to move the fantasy needle. It's safe to continue fading Severson in all settings.

Injuries
Concussion - Expected to be out until at least Mar 2 (Updated - 2/27/17)
News
Zacha (concussion) was moved to injured reserve by the Devils on Monday, Chris Ryan of The Star-Ledger reports.

Zacha suffered the concussion Feb. 21 against Ottawa and missed the team's latest contest because of it. The news officially rules him out Monday as well, but the retroactive nature of the IR move allows him to rejoin the action Thursday if healthy. Regardless of his status for that tilt, the youngster's 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) and minus-15 rating through 52 games this season make him an unappealing fantasy option in most formats.
