News
Schneider stopped the Rangers on 38 of 40 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime victory.

Having yielded either three or four goals in seven of his last eight games -- going 0-5-2 in that span -- Schneider didn't make for a good start on paper against the Rangers. However, Schneider's generally a good home goalie who gives his team a chance to win on any given night. His brilliant saves in both regulation and overtime were key in outdueling Rangers counterpart Antti Raanta. Nonetheless, Schneider's fantasy owners will surely want to see him string a few good starts together before their trust is restored.

News
Blandisi scored the game-winner in overtime against the Rangers on Tuesday, complementing a power-play assist.

This goal will take its place on Blandisi's career highlight reel, as he pulled a video-game move around Antti Raanta to put the puck home 4:05 into overtime. Blandisi has put up six points in his last six games, production that coincides with a promotion to the Devils' second line. He's averaged more than 16 minutes of ice time over that stretch, which is a huge increase over his sub-13-minute season average. The 22-year-old makes for an attractive down-the-stretch pickup in deeper formats.

News
Quenneville opened the scoring on a second-period power play Tuesday against the Rangers -- the first goal of his NHL career -- and added an assist on Joseph Blandisi's overtime winner.

This was a coming-out party for the 20-year-old, who'd put up just a lonely assist in his first five NHL games. The 2014 first-rounder is seeing solid ice time, and his 41 points in 53 AHL games are certainly promising. With that in mind, Quenneville ought to be owned in keeper formats, and his recent increase in ice time means he's relevant in some deep seasonal formats as well.

News
Coleman (upper body) returned to action Sunday against Columbus, logging 13:36 of ice time and two shots on goal.

Coleman missed Friday's game against the Penguins due to an upper-body ailment, but his injury evidently wasn't overly serious, as the 25-year-old pivot was able to return Sunday and log his normal ice time against the Blue Jackets. The 2011 third-round pick will continue to skate in a bottom-six role for the Devils when healthy, but his nearly nonexistent offensive production keeps him safely off the fantasy radar.

News
Wood (undisclosed) will return for Tuesday night's game against the Rangers following a one-game absence.

Wood's injury was apparently nothing serious and he is slated to return to action on New Jersey's fourth line Tuesday. Wood has just one point in his last seven contests and generally doesn't see enough ice time to make a fantasy impact, but he has seen an uptick in his power play time recently, averaging 2:15 with that unit over the seven-game span.
