Injuries
Lower Body - Day-to-Day (Updated - 3/23/17)
News
Fisher will not suit up for Thursday night's game against the Flames due to a lower-body injury.

Fisher had been playing decently of late despite limited playing time, posting three goals and four assists while averaging just 16:05 of ice time over his last twelve contests. Colton Sissons is slated to take Fishers spot centering the second line for Thursday's matchup.

News
Rinne allowed just one goal on 25 shots Thursday against Calgary, notching his 29th win.

That's now four straight wins for Rinne and the third straight game he's allowed just one goal. His GAA is still slightly higher than last year's, but he's improved his save percentage to .915 this season and barring any setbacks will likely record his third straight 30-win season. He may not have the best peripheral stats, but he does have one of the league's most explosive offenses playing in front of him, so even if he allows a few goals, he still has a chance to get a win.

News
Wilson notched two assists in a game for the second time this season Thursday against Calgary.

After a disappointing season last year, Wilson is getting back on track with his 28th and 29th points of the year. Over his past 22 games he's scored 11 points with a plus-7 rating, which is still underwhelming for the former 20-goal scorer, but continues to get top-six and power-play ice time from head coach Peter Laviolette. He's been off the fantasy radar this season but should continue to get better as he heads into his prime.

News
Ellis connected for a pair of goals while posting a plus-3 rating in Monday's 3-1 win against the Coyotes.

Ellis has five more games in March, but he's already tied his personal best for goals scored in a month with four. He's also up to 14 goals with 34 points, both career highs, and a lot of that damage has come on the man advantage -- four goals and 11 points. Ellis has emerged as a serviceable fantasy option in most pools with 12 or more teams.

News
Smith posted a pair of assists with a plus-2 rating in Monday's 3-1 win against the Coyotes.

Smith hasn't scored a goal in the past 22 games, and he has just four helpers during that stretch. However, three of those assists have come over the past three games. He's showing some signs of life, but Smith remains nothing more than a low-end fantasy option until he regains his scoring touch.

News
Sissons' sixth goal of the season Thursday against Calgary was also his first in 21 games.

Sissons was bumped up the depth chart due to an injury to Mike Fisher (lower body), and despite struggling earlier this season, he managed to bury the puck past a sliding Chad Johnson to snap his scoring drought. It was his first goal since Jan. 5, when he notched a hat trick against the Lightning, and he now has six goals and two assists in 49 games this season. Sissons is a two-way player who is still trying to develop a scoring touch in the NHL, and he'll remain off the fantasy radar until he can score more consistently.

News
Arvidsson scored a goal with a plus-1 rating in Monday's 3-1 win against the Coyotes.

Arvidsson has six goals and eight points in the month of March, and he has managed 15 goals and 23 points over 22 games since the beginning of February. Casual fantasy players might not be aware of Arvidsson's exploits, but he is certainly no longer a secret. He entered the season with eight goals and 16 points in 62 career games, but it appears the light is finally going off and he is ready for stardom.
