News
Ladd scored on a third-period power play Wednesday, and the goal held up as the game-winner in a 3-2 victory over the Rangers.

It's been a tough first year in New York for Ladd, but at least he's now reached 20 goals for the sixth time in his career. Of course, he also has only eight assists and a minus-12 rating, so his fantasy owners haven't exactly been enjoying the ride. Ladd is only 30 years old, but he's got a lot of mileage, so it's far from clear that he'll ever return to his old 50-to-60-point level.

Greiss allowed just two goals on 18 shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss against the Bruins.

Neither goaltender faced much rubber in a game resembling a playoff atmosphere. It was one of his best outings in March, as Greiss has yielded four or more goals in five of his 12 appearances in the month.

Bailey snapped a six-game scoreless drought last time out. He is up to eight assists in March, his second-most productive month of the season in that category. Every time he etches is name onto the scoresheet he improves his career high in points, too. Bailey is up to a career-high 39 assists and 51 points with a few more games left to go.

News
Kulemin (undisclosed) won't play Saturday against the Bruins, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

There was some thought Kulemin would be able to return for this game, but that's out the window now. His next chance to return will come Monday. Stephen Gionta replaced Kulemin in the lineup.

News
Tavares picked up two assists with a plus-2 rating in Friday's 4-3 shootout victory over the Penguins.

Tavares has at least one point in five consecutive outings and nine of the past 10 games. He is also working on a four-game stretch with an even or positive plus-minus rating. The personnel continues to change around him from season to season on the Island, but he keeps putting up consistent numbers.

Upper Body - Expected to be out until at least Apr 10 (Updated - 3/23/17)
News
Strome will not require surgery for his broken wrist, though he's still expected to miss 3-to-6 weeks of action, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

The Isles have serious work to do in order to make it to the postseason, though avoiding surgery means the skilled forward could be ready if the team does happen to pull of the improbable and wind up in the playoffs.

News
Lee scored a goal and added a power-play assist Wednesday in a 3-2 win over the Rangers.

The helper came on Andrew Ladd's game-winner in the latter half of the third period. Lee had hit the skids recently -- one point and minus-4 rating with just seven shots over five games coming into Wednesday's action -- but he picked a good time to resume building on the best season of his career, which now features 27 goals and 44 points.
