The Dallas Stars participate in the National Hockey League (NHL)
and are based in Dallas, Texas. Dallas is a member of the
Pacific Division of the Western Conference. The Stars, who
joined the league as the Minnesota North Stars in 1967 and moved
to Texas in 1993, play home games at American Airlines Center
and have won one Stanley Cup (199).
