The New Jersey Devils participate in the National Hockey League
(NHL) and are based in Newark, N.J. New Jersey is a member of
the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. The Devils, who
joined the league in 1974 as the Kansas City Scouts and played
as the Colorado Rockies for six seasons before moving to New
Jersey in 1982, play home games at Prudential Center and have
won three Stanley Cups (1995, 2000, 2003).
