The Phoenix Coyotes participate in the National Hockey League
(NHL) and are based in Phoenix, Ariz. Phoenix is a member of the
Pacific Division of the Western Conference. The Coyotes, who
joined the league as the Winnipeg Jets in 1979 and moved to
Arizona in 1996, play home games at Jobing.com Arena.
