The Toronto Maple Leafs participate in the National Hockey
League (NHL) and are based in Toronto, Ont. Canada. Toronto is a
member of the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference. The
Maple Leafs, who were founded in 1916 and previously known as
the St. Pats and Arenas before 1926, play home games at Air
Canada Centre and have won 13 Stanley Cups (1918, 1922, 1932,
1942, 1945, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1951, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1967).
