PLAYER NOTES

--C Nik Antropov, who scored his fifth goal of the season in Wednesday's loss to the Panthers, has gone eight games without an assist and has just two helpers in his past 11 games. Still, Antropov is tied for the team lead with 21 assists this season.

--C Todd White, who netted 22 goals last season, has now gone 23 games without a goal. White didn't manage a single shot on goal in Wednesday's loss to the Panthers and has a minus-8 rating this season. Atlanta will need more production from players like White if they hope to keep their playoff chances alive.

--RW Maxim Afinogenov was held scoreless in Wednesday's loss to the Panthers and has now gone eight games without a goal. That's not to say Afinogenov is playing poorly. It was his hard-driving move to the Florida net late in the third period that set up Slava Kozlov's game-tying goal.

MEDICAL WATCH

--G Kari Lehtonen underwent his second back surgery in the past four months on Oct. 30 and is expected to be out through the end of December.
