--LW Wojtek Wolski continues to struggle despite playing on the Avalanche's top line. He has one goal in his past 15 games, and that was scored into an empty net on Jan. 16 in a 3-1 win against New Jersey. Wolski has been held without a point in eight of the 15 games.
--D John-Michael Liles had his season-best point-scoring streak snapped at five games Thursday against Minnesota. Liles had one goal and six assists during the streak. Liles has played his best hockey in the second half of the season in recent years and leads all Avalanche defensemen in scoring with 23 points (four goals, 19 assists) in 37 games.

--C Matt Hendricks (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Jan. 21.
--RW David Jones (knee) will probably miss the remainder of the regular season to recover from surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament, though he could return for the playoffs.
