--With Shawn Horcoff done for the season, Marty Reasoner is moving up to fill his void on the top line. The versatile veteran knows he's not a natural goal scorer. "You can't change your game," he said. "You're not going to become Joe Sakic just because you play on the first line."

--Defenseman Sheldon Souray has the same type of injury that cost Shawn Horcoff the rest of the season -- a torn labrum -- but doesn't plan to go under the knife yet. "We're analyzing his situation," said coach Craig MacTavish. "He's not quite as bad as 'Horc' in terms of the urgency to get it done right away. There's still a likelihood that we'll see him come back and play some games, but that hasn't been totally determined yet."

--LW Geoff Sanderson has two points in two games since being rescued from the press box last weekend. He's making a lot of people wonder why it took so long for coach Craig MacTavish to get him in.
