PLAYER NOTES

--LW Curtis Glencross, who brings more grit to the game than Robert Nilsson, was hoping to take Nilsson's spot in a physical showdown with Calgary. But Nilsson played, and scored a goal, so Glencross could be sitting a while.

--G Dwayne Roloson hasn't played in three games and won't play in more than three or four of Edmonton's final 25. He has one win in his last seven starts and Edmonton's playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. Mathieu Garon will go the rest of the way.
