Oilers report: Notes, quotes
--C Marc Pouliot is back after missing the first 47 games of the season with a sports hernia injury that required surgery.
"It's been tough," he said of having to watch from the press box for three months. "I'm really excited. The last months have been tough, it's tough to be away from the game and the team. Being part of the team and being ready to play and don't look back."
--Monday's 6-0 loss to Colorado was rock bottom, and that's saying a lot for a team that's been in the gutter for three months.
"It's getting to the point now where I don't know how much more frustrating it can be," Shawn Horcoff said. "Tonight was not frustrating, it was embarrassing. We need to be a hell of a lot better than that.
"We were undisciplined in our system, lazy, didn't play with any energy. I don't know what kind of dose of reality it's going to take before we start realizing ... before guys start getting embarrassed."
QUOTE TO NOTE
"It's not pretty hockey, but they're in first place and we're sucking hind banana here." -- Coach Pat Quinn, on wishing his team played more like Colorado.
