--New Jersey tries to even the season series with the rival Rangers when the teams meet at Madison Square Garden for the second time in just over a week Saturday night.
--The Devils have won two straight games for the second time this season.
--New Jersey has scored first in all five of its wins this season.

--The Devils dressed seven defensemen for a second straight game Friday night.
QUOTE TO NOTE
"What can I say about that guy? This year, he has been on fire. That's a huge goal shorthanded in a 1-1 (game). That's a backbreaker for the opposing team." -- Devils left wing Zach Parise, after John Madden scored the big goal in Friday night's game.
