American gymnast Aly Raisman won a bronze medal earlier Tuesday on the beam by way of a challenge and tiebreak but took home gold in the floor exercise without any dispute following a dazzling routine.

Raisman scored an impressive 15.600 to edge Romania's Catalin Ponor, who she beat out in the beam for a medal, by four tenths.

Jordyn Wieber, who came into these Olympics with high expectations as the reigning world all-around champion, finished in seventh place. A report in the Detroit Free Press stated her father, David, said that she suffered from a stress fracture on the routine.

The gold gave Raisman her third overall medal when factoring in a team gold she won with the United States. She closed out gymnastics in London on the floor.
