LOOK: Canadian speedskater's massive Olympic-rings back tattoo

Well, this is one of the more impressive things we've seen so far from Sochi.

That's the back of 29-year-old Canadian short-track speed skater Charles Hamelin.

Hamelin's one of the best short-track speed skaters in the world. He won the 1,500-meter event in Sochi on Monday, defending his gold from 2010 in Vancouver. He also helped Canada win the gold in the 5,000-meter team relay, and he'll be part of that chase in the upcoming days as well.

He's also known as being half of the speed skating world's First Couple. Marianne St-Gelais is his wife, and they've made it a habit of smooching after Hamelin's big wins.

With any big tat, you wonder how long it took. Well, Purdon tweeted that as well.

And after winning Monday, Hamelin tweeted:
