Curling is in Canadian blood almost as much as hockey. The sport was invented in Scotland but the Canadians have almost made it their own. Since curling returned to the Olympics in 1998, Canada has medaled every time, in both men's and women's.

It's not hockey, but it's a pretty big deal. It was such a big deal that it drew the Canadian ice hockey players to the curling rink on Saturday to watch that instead of the epic game between the USA and Russia in hockey.

Jonathan Toews was really in the spirint.

Look at Captain Serious really letting loose! You'll notice the hat and ear-to-ear smile but don't miss the enthusiastic thumbs up. It's almost like he's trying to hide it from Jeff Carter to his right because either Carter is incredibly bored by the curling or is embarrassed of the guy next to him. Or both.

Not to be outdone, Roberto Luongo was stoned too, and by stoned we mean wearing his curling stone hat. We can't confirm, but it looks like he's having a good time.

Look, hockey players are just like us!

Apparently they were good luck too as Canada's men's team beat Great Britain 7-5.
