The unordinary Olympic events provide us with a chance at some extraordinary sports photography -- some of the best of its kind.

Today brings the third edition of the most terrific shots from across the world. Volumes I and II can be found in the links provided. We also explicitly shared the many terrific faces of mid-flight ski jumpers. A lot of ski jumpers involved in this gallery today. A final batch of first-rate Olympics photos will run next Monday, following the conclusion of the Games.

Enjoy and feel free to share the word/link.
