LOOK: Sochi Olympic website assumes you're excited for Games
Given that the upcoming Olympics have cost more than $50 billion dollars, it's no wonder Russia assumes you're excited for the Games.
Now that the Games are less than 30 days away, the website for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics has a very important poll question:
“Are you looking forward to the games?” viewers are asked.
The options, as you can see, don’t leave a ton of room for interpretation. You’ve either been looking forward to the Games since they were announced in Guatemala in 2007, looking forward to them because they’re great for the whole world, looking forward to them because you regularly follow the Olympics, or you’re excited to see great results from athletes.
You could also choose the “other” option, which, –- likely to the dismay of President Putin -- was leading the polls with 30.8 percent of the vote.
