Miley Cyrus is a big fan of USA slopestyle skier Gus Kenworthy
Twitter has totally changed the Olympics PR machine.
The Olympics offer the rare chance for athletes to show their skills on the international stage -- and parlay their spotlight into connecting with celebrities. We've already seen USA luger Kate Hansen get a shoutout from her idol, Beyonce.
The most recent example this came from American slopestyle freeskier Gus Kenworthy, who became much more well known for his puppy adoption of Sochi stray dogs than winning the silver in slopestyle. Maybe rightfully so.
With this, Kenworthy was given a chance to give a holler on social media to his favorite celebrity. Happens to be Miley Cyrus. This photo below was posted on Valentine's Day. As you can see above, Cyrus has taken notice, tweeting out to 17.7 million followers why they should hop on the Gus bus.
Not only that, but the white board love note worked. Guy is having quite the time over in Sochi.
