USA skier Julia Mancuso takes a surf in the Black Sea at Olympics
The American can conquer water and mountain, it seems.
Julia Mancuso isn't done getting a workout in Sochi, even if her events are finished.
The American, who won bronze in the women's super combined in Sochi last week, took a trip away from the mountains and into the sea on Wednesday. NBC analyst Sal Masekela shared a couple of photos of he and Mancuso's trip to the Black Sea. Reports were that local temperatures again crept above 60 degrees, as they have for a number of days in the area.
Per the AP, Mancuso said, "There are real waves in Sochi.”
Had no idea she knew how to surf, but given she's from California, it shouldn't be a total shock.
