WATCH: Crash leads to insane three-way photo finish at ski cross
Races simply don't get any closer than this.
Thursday’s quarterfinal finish in the ski cross may have yielded the most incredible finish to any event in this winter Olympics.
Three racers crashed on the final jump, which sent them spinning, sputtering, and sprawling towards the finish line.

Ultimately Russia’s Egor Koroktov (white pants, yellow top) took second place thanks to a last-millisecond-lunge. With only one spot remaining in the semifinals, he eeked out the second-place finish over Sweden's Victor Oehling Norber and Finland's Jouni Pellinen.
